T. Caillouette, M.D. is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with
Newport Orthopedic Institute, specializing in joint replacement and
adult reconstructive surgery. He has been on staff at Hoag Hospital
since 1988.
A California native, Dr. Caillouette grew up in Pasadena. A son of a physician, Dr. Caillouette was influenced by medicine at an early age. After exploring various surgical specialties, he ultimately chose Orthopedic Surgery.
"Orthopedics is a specialty where patients are usually quite healthy, but their life is being compromised by restricted motion, pain, or some other specific bone or joint-related problem. He was elected President of Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical school academic honor society. He served both his internship and orthopedic residency at the University of California, Irvine.
